SMP - Sliding Mag Pick-up Installation is simple providing there is adequate space between the coordinator rod and head. Normally the 1/4" input jack is installed in the space between the second and third hook above the tailpiece. This location allows the cable to be easily inserted while the player is sitting down with the banjo.
