Fine thread stud kits to replace 3/8" X 16 manifold bolts for Chevrolet and GMC intake and exhaust manifolds.
Fits 1929-1936 Chevrolet, 1939-1960 GMC 228-302, This stud set has two 1 1/2" long 3/8" X 16 studs for replacing blind studs on ends and six 3/8 X 16 X 2" studs for the center positions. All studs in set are 3/8" X 24 threads to the inch at clamping end. Set includes eight 3/8" X 24 hex nuts. This set replaces studs on GMC 228-236-248-256-270 and 302. This can be tightened more than the stock stud set which is coarse thread both ends. Also fits Chevy II 153 four cylinder and 194 six cylinder. (don't use all the studs on the four cylinder). Fits all the other Chevrolet inline sixes made between 1929 and 1986 including Pontiac 215, with the exception of the 216-235-261 series. The Pontiac 224 is in the 216 series. If you are installing Clifford headers on the 216-235 series, use this set instead of the long stud set. Standard stud kit: $12.00.
