This pressure regulator valve fits in the engine block behind the screw-on oil filter used on Chevrolet inline six cylinder engines 194-215-230-250 and 292 plus the 153 four cylinder. Since it is hidden when the filter is installed, some people don't know it belongs there. If you forget tp install it when rebuilding an engine it, or the absence of it, can cause costly problems.
