Small 292 water pump for 292 engines installed in Chevrolet passenger cars and pick up trucks. The 292 pumps are not the same as the 230-250 water pumps. The 292 block does not have the bypass hole found in 230-250 blocks. A 292 in a light vehicle does not require the huge pump found in heavy truck applications.
