This bracket is made for attaching a Hildebrandt oil filter to a firewall or inner fender panel.It also attaches to Offenhauser 2 one bbl. 216 and 235 intake manifolds,number 1034 for 216, number 1035 for Chevrolet 235 and 261. Made from 1/2" aluminum on a C.N.C. machine. Uses Allen screws to attach to oil filter $50.00. Four 1/4" X 20 Allen screws are included for attaching oil filter to mounting plate, two 5/16" Allen screws are included for attaching mounting plate (bracket) to Offenhauser intake manifold. Part # BHMOH. Can be sent by Priority Mail. Manifold and filter in picture are not included. The Hildebrandt oil filter is an ideal replacement for the hard to find stock 261 truck oil filter. The Hildebrandt has a modern filter inside that is replaceable and uses the same type 1/2" NPT oil lines as the original filter. The 261 was the first Chevrolet "Full Flow" six cylinder engine. All the oil goes through the filter before it gets to the bearings.
