CAM-18 Old style oil with ZDDP for old design engines. Oil made for new cars will not work in your 1929-1986 Chevrolet inline six. It will remove all the anti-wear protection and cause rapid wear and camshaft failure. Joe Gibbs Driven Hot Rod oil has all the additives that have been removed from modern oil. Our oil contains zinc (Zinc DialkylDithioPhosphate) ZDDP and is not for use with catalytic converters, but then most Chevrolet and GMC inline sixes did not have catalytic converters.

Has the additives you need for older engines. These additives are not in oil made for modern cars. Use of modern motor oil in these old engines will probably result in camshaft failure.
